The DCHS Athletic Department welcomes Red Demon Football fans to the 2018 season. This year’s home schedule includes four varsity home games, including the annual Hatchet Game vs Garden City!

The Dodge City High School Athletic Department would like to inform the community that Reserved Season Football tickets are now on sale through the Athletic Office.
- Previous Season Ticket holders have been mailed packets for reserving their seats, and receive first preference on seating and parking permits.
- Season Tickets allow for admission to all Home Varsity, JV, & Freshman High School football games.
- Reserved parking in the South Stadium lot is also being sold to the first (60) fans requesting permits.


Jim Coffin is a 1966 graduate of Dodge City High School, and is the son of Bob Coffin – a long time Red Demon supporter. Jim’s sister Sherill was a long-time teacher/drill team instructor at Dodge City High School. J-A-G Construction Co was first established in 1962 by Bob Coffin in Dodge City. In 1970, Jim, Bob’s son, joined the company and they decided to add a ready-mix concrete facility to the business. In 1986, Jim took over J-A-G Construction Co from his father and began to operate both companies. In 1993, additional ready-mix concrete plants were added in Liberal, KS and Guymon, OK. In 1998, Jim acquired Dodge City Sand and in 2001, another ready-mix concrete plant was purchased in Hooker, OK. J-A-G Construction Co also owns three portable cement plants.
Glen Piper is a 1957 graduate of Dodge City Senior High School. Glen was the first ever High School All-American at DCHS. He was an outstanding basketball and baseball player who still holds the several school records in basketball at DCHS. He signed directly out of high school and played collegiately at the University of Colorado, after making an initial commitment to Kansas University and Head Coach, Phog Allen. Piper signed with Colorado after being promised the opportunity to play both baseball and basketball for the Buffaloes. KU Coach Allen was only interested in Piper as a basketball player. He finished his college career as a Small College All-American at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, where he graduated with a degree in Education.
2017 All-Conference Girls Soccer
Dodge City High School will host the 2018 WAC Track & Field Championships at the Memorial Stadium TrackComplex. This year’s meet will be the 33rd year for the event. The Memorial Stadium complex includes an 8- lane synthetic surface and 2,500 seats on each side of the facility for teams and spectators. The finish line is located on the NE section of the track. Concessions will be located on the EAST side of the Stadium.
