On Friday, October 8, the Dodge City Red Demons will host the Hays High Indians at Memorial Stadium.
- This fall marks the 30th anniversary of the final season at SMPC.
- At halftime the DCHS Athletic Department will be honoring the 1991 KCAC Co-Champion St. Mary of the Plains College Football Team–and all SMPC Alumni in attendance.
- The SMPC Cavalier Football program either won or shared the KCAC Title in 1989, 1990, & 1991 leading the nation in scoring defense all three years.
- The 1989 Cavalier Team still holds the NAIA national record for scoring defense.
- Souvenir posters and shirts will be sold in the Stadium Team Store to commemorate the event.
- SMPC Alumni in attendance will have the option to sit in a designated seating area on the north end of the west grandstand. A post-game tailgate is also being planned with details available closer to game day.
