Less than two weeks after opening their season in Garden City, the Dodge City Red Demons girls swim team returned to the Garden City YMCA Tuesday, taking third place as a team behind Great Bend and Garden City.
A highlight from the meet was that the 200 Freestyle Relay team composed of Payton Magouirk, Abby Harding, Hayden Sanchez and Lea Weckerle qualified for state.
They finished first in the event with a time of 1:51.06, more than two seconds ahead of the Great Bend team that finished second.
