Led by junior Makayla Burton, the Red Demon girls tallied 2467 points, finishing behind Garden City who had the top two finishers.
The Dodge City boys earned a baker score of 2595 to finish ahead of Holcomb. Garden City took first place and had the top-three individual placers.
“We bowled better (Tuesday) and are making some nice progress,” Dodge City head coach Tyson Clark said. “We have to give credit to Garden as they bowled extremely well today. I was proud of the way our kids competed and look forward to our next opportunity”.
The Red Demons will get back on the lanes Thursday afternoon when they host Great Bend and Holcomb at 3 p.m.
