The Dodge City High School Lady Demons Tennis team wrapped up a memorable season by capturing the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Championship.

It was a true team effort, with strong performances from every spot in the lineup. The doubles teams set the tone for the day, as both pairs finished undefeated. Yaremy Macias and Marisol Banuelos went 4-0 at #1 Doubles to claim WAC Champion honors, while Emma Bell and Addisyn Taylor matched that record at #2 Doubles, also earning the title of WAC Champions.
In singles play, Valeria Reyes had a solid day at #2 Singles, finishing 2-2 to place 3rd, while Katie Rouse battled through a tough field at #1 Singles to earn 4th place with a 1-3 record.
Those steady results across the board helped the Lady Demons bring home the 2025 WAC Team Championship, a reflection of their hard work and dedication all season long.
To top it off, Head Coach Brett Groth was recognized as the WAC Coach of the Year, an honor that highlights the leadership and teamwork that define the Lady Demons Tennis program.
Congratulations to Coach Groth and the Lady Demons on a great conference championship win!
