The Dodge City High School football program will travel to Wichita this Friday night as the Red Demons meet the Wichita Heights Falcons at Heights Stadium.
- This will be the 16th meeting all-time between the two schools.
- The teams have met 13 times in the regular season and twice in the post-season,with Heights taking both playoff victories.
- Heights has played one of the tougher schedules to open the 2019 campaign, losing to Maize South in Week one and Bishop Carroll in week two.
- This is the last meeting for the Falcons and Red Demons in the current series. The teams have played for eight consecutive seasons. Dodge City will play Wichita South next year in week three and Bishop Carroll in week four.
- Next week is Homecoming Week for the Red Demons as they welcome undefeatedGreat Bend to Memorial Stadium to open Western Athletic Conference play.
