The Dodge City High School Red Demons will travel to Lewis Field on the FHSU campus Friday night to take on the Hays Indians.
- This will be the 78th meeting all-time between the two schools.
- The series dates back to the 1932 season, with the teams having played in 44 consecutive seasons beginning with the 1977 season, a 39-0 Demon victory.
- Hays did not play in Week #5, while Dodge City and Liberal picked up WAC wins against Great Bend and Garden City.
- This is the final game of the WAC season for both schools, with the winner claiming the WAC Championship.
- Dodge City remains OPEN for Week #7, with Ulysses waiting in Week #8.
