The Red Demons led going into the top of the seventh 4-1, but Hutchinson scored three in the their portion of the seventh to tie the game before Sowers eventually ended it. Sowers finished game two with two hits and two RBI’s, both team highs. Alden Knedler matched Sowers in hits, with two of his own as well. Adrian Mendoza had a team-high two runs in the second game.
The Red Demons are next in action next Firday, April 20, when they head to Garden City to take on the Buffaloes. That game is scheduled for 5 p.m. and will take place at Clint Lightner Field.
