The Dodge City High School “Red Demons” will host the Liberal High School Redskins this Friday night for their final game of the regular season.
- This is the 93rd meeting in this storied rivalry. The series was not played from 1949-1956, but, excluding those dates, has been played every year since 1919.
- The Red Demons are 7-2 in the Foster era versus the Redskins, and look to go undefeated in WAC play for the first time since 2015.
- Dodge City is currently seeded #3 in the West 6A Regional, behind #1 Derby and #2 Lawrence. The top seven teams in the West are all undefeated or have one loss.
- Dodge City will host a week 9 playoff game next week at Memorial Stadium.
- Week 9 playoff tickets will be on sale Friday night at halftime of the Liberal game.
- Friday night will feature senior recognition for football, athletic training, cheerleading,drill team, band, cross country, golf, and tennis.
