The Dodge City High School football program will host Great Bend this Friday night as the Red Demons meet the Panthers at Memorial Stadium.
- This will be the 92nd meeting all-time between the two schools, dating back to the1907 season.
- The teams have met in consecutive seasons beginning with the 1942 season, a 37-0 Red Demon victory.
- The Red Demons hold the longest streak in the series (11), winning consecutive games from 1984-1994. Great Bend currently owns a three-game winning streak over theDemons, with the last DC win coming in 2015 (51-7).
- Great Bend suffered their first loss of the season last week versus No. 2-ranked (5A) Wichita Northwest. Dodge City remains the only unbeaten team in the WAC, while Garden City is the only WAC team still looking for a victory as they travel to Hays on Friday.
