The Red Demons travel to Hays Friday night to take on the Indians.
- This will be the 80th meeting all-time between the two schools. The series dates back to the 1932 season, with the teams having played in 44 consecutive seasons beginning with the 1977 season.
- Hays routed Ulysses in Week 5 to improve to 4-1 (2-0 conference) on the season. Dodge City (3-2, 1-1) lost to Great Bend in an OT thriller on Friday night at Memorial Stadium.
- Dodge City will attempt to keep their WAC Title hopes alive on Friday night versus Hays. Hays defeated Garden City in Week 4 to claim the top spot in the conference at 2-0.
- Next Saturday Night will be the 85th Annual Hatchet Game presented by Cargill. The game will be played at Riverfront Stadium in Wichita, home of the MiLB Wichita Wind Surge.
