The Red Demon Wrestling team competed at the DC Invitational Saturday, Jan. 9.
The Demons went against the Junction City Tigers and won with a score of 45-27, taking them onto the next match versus the Pratt Greenbacks and winning with a score of 57-15. Dodge City beat the Manhattan Indians 55-15 and with a knock-off against the No.1 All Class Goddard Eagles with a score of 45-35.
Damian Mendez, junior, reaches his one hundredth career win by beating another state champ.
The Lady Demons take the first place title. Winning first place overall with 169 points, the Demons move onto their next match against the Hays Indians Jan. 12, at 6 pm at Hays High School.
