Demons compete at Newton
By: John Zetmeir
The Dodge City High School boys swimming team competed in its first meet in school history on Tuesday at the Newton Invitational.
The Red Demons tallied just 10 team points but for a majority of the Dodge City swimmers, it was the first time competing.
“I was so proud of the boys (Tuesday) they represented Dodge City well,” Dodge City head coach Kaitlyn Paul said. “For their first meet they did fantastic. They were even complimented on their sportsmanship. I can’t wait to see where they go from here.”
Dodge City will travel to their second meet of the season next Tuesday when they head to Great Bend.
