
Dodge City High School is proud to congratulate Eric Reid on his selection to the 43rd annual Kansas Shrine Bowl. This year’s contest will take place July 30, on the campus of Emporia State University. Eric is the 28th Red Demon player all-time to be selected to play in this prestigious contest.
Besides 28 former Red Demons being selected to the contest, Head Coach Dave Foster is one of only eleven participants who have both played and coached in the Shrine Game.

The Tournament of Champions is the longest running invitational boys’ basketball tournament west of the Mississippi, and for seventy-three years has showcased the best high school basketball talent in the state of Kansas.
Dayton Moore became the sixth general manager in Royals history on June 8, 2006. Under Moore’s leadership, the Royals built one of the best farm systems in baseball en route to winning the 2015 World Series in the club’s second consecutive trip to the Fall Classic, and first World Series championship since 1985. That was following the club reaching the postseason for the first time in 29 years as they won the 2014 American League championship by setting a Major League record with eight-straight wins in the playoffs.
