In the first game of the semifinals of TOC, the Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles faced off against the Goddard Eisenhower Tigers. Nick Hogan led the Tigers with a game high 23 points. Leading the Golden Eagles was Carter Reid with a score of 22 points, along with Alex Littlejohn with 18 points.
At the end of the first quarter, Goddard Eisenhower had the lead against Bishop Carroll by a score of 12-11. After the first quarter, Bishop Carroll took control of the game, heading into the half with a 27-22 lead. The Golden Eagles proceeded to outscore the Tigers 37-23 in the second half, with Bishop Carroll winning easily with a score of 64-45. Goddard Eisenhower allowed 21 points off of turnovers and was outscored 30-16 in the paint by the Golden Eagles.
Bishop Carroll will advance to play in the Championship Game against Junction City Saturday, Jan. 23, at 3 pm. Goddard Eisenhower will play for third place against Dodge City at 1 pm on Saturday.
