Dodge City High School will host the 77th annual Tournament of Champions sponsored by Western Plains Medical Complex on January 23, 24 & 25. The tournament will be hosted at the United Wireless Arena. Participating teams are Dodge City (6A), Wichita East (6A), Wichita Heights (6A), Haysville-Campus (6A), Manhattan (6A), Maize (5A), Tecumseh-Shawnee Heights (5A), and Bishop Miege (4A).

Along with a competitive field of basketball teams, numerous groups will perform between games and at the half times. Those participating in this year’s T.O.C. are: Dodge City High School Drill Team, Dodge City Middle School Drill Team, Comanche Middle School Drill Team, Dodge City High School Cheerleaders, Dodge City High School Pep Band and The Pride of Southwest Kansas.
Thursday evening will be the recognition of the All-Academic All-Tournament team and the 2020 TOC Committee. On Friday night, the cheerleaders participating in the tournament will perform a combined routine between games.
Reserved seat tickets for the tournament are on sale now at the United Wireless Arena box office. Reserved seats are available for all three days. General admission tickets are $8 and are good for both afternoon and evening sessions. Tickets are also available online at ticketmaster.com.
The TOC/FCA Breakfast, sponsored by the Dodge City Chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, will be held at 8:30am on Saturday at the Boot Hill Conference Center at the UWA. This year’s speaker is Senior Associate Athletic Director at the University of Oklahoma – Kenny Mossman. This event is open to the general public. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased the day of the event.
An awards ceremony will follow the championship game on Saturday evening. The awards will include; Most Inspirational Player, Team Sportsmanship, Individual Sportsmanship, Coaches Sportsmanship, All-Academic Team for basketball players & cheerleaders, Individual All Tournament Basketball team and Cheerleaders, and the Tournament Trophy presentations.

- Thursday: 2:00, 3:30, 7:00, 8:30
- Friday: 1:00, 2:30, 6:00, 7:30
- Saturday: 12:00, 1:30, 3:00, 5:00
