Kenny Mossman is in his 19th year at the University of Oklahoma where he serves as senior associate athletics director for external operations. He has sport oversight for the highly successful Sooner programs of football and softball.
A graduate of Southwestern College in his hometown of Winfield, Kan., Mossman lettered in basketball and was inducted into the school’s Athletics Hall of Fame in 2005. He earned his bachelor’s degree in 1981 and completed a master’s degree in mass communications at Kansas State in 1989.
Mossman chairs the state board for Oklahoma FCA, serves on the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission for the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma and is on the board for Grace Home, an Oklahoma-based maternity ministry. In addition to his athletics work, he teaches two courses at OU, one in sports public relations and another in sports marketing and development. He is a published author, who wrote the Oklahoma Football Vault in 2008, and a frequent public speaker.
Mossman and his wife, Amy, reside in Norman. Their children are Scott, Matt, Hannah and Andrew.
